Poor King George was a merry old soul

On a very good president’s desk Harry S. Truman (A democrat by the way) there was a plaque it said one thing

 

"The buck Stops here".

It’s nice that many republican have stated that our president is such an incompetent that he is no longer our commander and chief it’s not his fault that the levies gave way.

It’s not his fault that there is evidently no preparedness for disaster relief if such an event were to happen due to terrorist actions.

 

I am reminded of the wizard of OZ when something happens in this presidency “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”. Our president isn’t responsible for starting a war, he isn’t responsible for the inflation, and he isn’t responsible for destroying out civil liberties or disenfranchising us.

The incompetents he’s put in charge aren’t his responsibility, it’s obviously someone else making these decisions if its not his fault

It’s the past administrations! The other guys! Someone else! and that guy who got a blowjob.

Have other presidents and congress done things that have weakened FEMA, sure.

However this president and party in charge were charged with bolstering our national defense as his number one priority to save us from the terrorists.

What happened to Homeland Security? What happened to FEMA under his tenure?

Destruction of the levies makes them a prime target if terrorists wanted to do the maximum damage to that city.

What if this had been a successful terrorist attack? Where is the rescue effort? Where is homeland security? If a hurricane could damage the levies in this manner what would a small bomb have done?

 

For want of a nail a shoe was lost, for lack of a brick the wall was lost.

 

Where are the FEMA funds? They went to Iraq.

Where’s the National Guard? they went to Iraq.

Where do homeland security funds go? Anywhere they really aren’t needed, free “pork belly” and not a peep from his highness.

 

Why don’t we blame it all on the blacks who are the predominant racial class we see dead and dying on all the CNN and Fox News reports, it must be their fault of course.

Blame it on the governor of the state so poor that it couldn’t come up with anywhere near the funds to improve the Levies.

 

Your right the extra money may not have prevented the damage but it would more than likely have mitigated it, Improvements would have minimized the breeches, emergency plans would have been in place to handle the survivors, lives would have been saved. The disaster would have been serious but not the sheer obliteration of an entire American city.

The terrorists didn’t even manage that one, but we seem to have managed to do that all on our own.

 

Your right our president isn’t to blame at all. He hasn’t done anything
